The book A Walk to Remember is better than the movie because you get more of the story and you get more out of the characters than how they are portrayed on screen by the actors and you do more crying with the book really sad.. it makes you laugh and cry all at once.. not the same experience for watching the movie... though.. the movie was a plus because you get to hear them sing.. and im not sire that you can get that out of a book.brbrThe Harry Potter books because the movie was just sort of lame. They cut off many funny scenes out of the movies.brbrThe LOTR Trilogys movie because the book was wayy too long to read for me to read through... too many books to follow through with, even if i finished most of it. Its really detailed, but the movie... you get to see how things are portrayed in better light.. its more fascinating than trying to overtax you imagination. It gets most funnies out and the actors were great... not to mention good looking..brbrEragon... I heard the book was better than the movie... havent really had a chance to start the book yet but my friend read it and said it was better compared to the movie.brbrNarnia... even though not all of the series had come out yet.. it is on its wayy... and in my opinion, i think that the book is better... but really long to read... movie was pretty good... from what i saw from the first movie, the lion and the rock.... really powerful... which you cant get from the book.... im not going to mention what happens just in case of someone who havent saw it yet.brbrThe notebook.... sweet movie.. good book... too many things going on... I think that the book, you get more of a better meaning in the story than the portrayal of the hooleywood stuff...brbrThe devil wears prada, the movie.... for some reason i find it more better. it was easy to follow...brbrBrokeback Mountain... the short story was excellent.... Proulx did a really good job... of writing it.. and when i said short... really short... it was i think pages or less cant remember but id go with the movie though.. i did enjoy the short story...the movie it was really powerful...of two cute cowboy men making it out... so stereotypical.. both story and movie... about the whole gay cowboy thing.. LOL... anywayz... check out the story... it was written pretty well... movie is enjoyable.brbrlets... other stories ive read made into movies... well i have many... but these are a few.
